Permatours collaborates with farms, homesteads & intentional communities in the northeast region of the U.S. & internationally to provide visitors and residents with opportunities to connect, self express, and co-create - focusing on learning the skills to survive and THRIVE!
We prioritize projects & hosts that:
-
…strive to solve social, environmental, & economic issues, i.e. food security, affordable housing, clean water, & renewable energy, & work with materials & methods that are as environmentally friendly, affordable, & accessible as possible
-
…support the local community and economy and strive to rely less on corporations & corporate structures
-
…provide a safe space for learning to regenerate earth, community & self; to authentically express; to experiment with alternative forms of trade & exchange
-
…aspire to function like a hub that can host Permatours events & members of the Permatours’ community (as well as other aligned peoples & groups) on an ongoing basis for learning and growth, as well as for residencies and work trade opportunities.
