How We Serve

PERMATOURS ADDS VALUE TO HOSTS & COMMUNITY CENTERS VIA:

“ORGANIZING” PROJECTS & EVENTS that are facilitated & hosted by Permatours from start to finish.

&

“SUPPORTING” PROJECTS & EVENTS by providing aid and guidance to ecosystems and hosts without our organizers needing to be onsite.

We “organize” by designing & facilitating permaculture action & natural building-focused events (held in-person or digitally) via:

● Developing the agenda & the program in collaboration with the host and others who can add value to the event

● Designing marketing collateral and promoting the event via email & social media marketing

● Setting up ticketing and registration pages

● Hosting the event including setting up and breaking down, & facilitating the opening & closing ceremonies

● Managing a “project lead” or internally managing the project(s) at hand

We “support” events and projects (held in-person or digitally) that we may not host or facilitate ourselves by:

● RECRUITING SUPPORT with in-person & online event hosting / facilitation, logistics, photography and video production, and / or program design

● EVENT PROMOTION via aiding hosts with online Q&As or meet and greets (pre-event), and supporting with event promotion via designing marketing collateral and sharing events with our email list and social network

● EVENT REGISTRATION which includes setting up ticketing pages

● MANAGING VIDEO PRODUCTION EFFORTS via filming interviews and/or work done onsite for documentation or to be packaged & delivered as online course(s)

● OFFERING GUIDANCE around hosting / facilitating in-person & online events, managing logistics, & event program design

● ORGANIZING APPLIED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES via reaching out to local educational institutions to offer students (children, teens, adults, & elders) applied learning opportunities onsite

● REFERRING SKILLED CONTRACTORS who can support with the execution of a project outside of the parameters of an event via our “The Skilled Guild” network

● INNOVATION / INVENTION via collaborating around innovative projects, such as inventing a biochar kiln that small farmers can work with to create and sell biochar

● FISCAL SPONSORSHIP via providing Permatours’ 501c3 status to organizations raising money for educational purposes that align with our mission & values, where we usually requesting 10% of funds raised as a fee for this service
