Located in Aquinnah, Martha’s Vineyard, Orange Peel Bakery is a micro-bakery and event space run by indigenous leader and activist, Julie Vanderhoop.  All bread, pizza, and pastries are made from scratch with ingredients fresh from the garden and baked outside in a wood-fired oven. 

Julie set up Orange Peel Bakery so that at any time, you can pop by for honey, pizza, scones, or other freshly baked goods and leave cash in a jar or send a Venmo payment :).

Permatours enjoyed a day at Orange Peel Bakery gardening and baking, as well learning about how the bakery has been a staple for local community gatherings and events.
