Online Education & A New Hub In Colorado
Permatours has completed almost 20 natural building and permaculture-focused projects this season, primarily throughout the Northeast and also in the midwest (Colorado & South Dakota) and we're just getting started.
EXPANDING INTERNATIONALLY & DIGITALLY
We're expanding globally through our participation in Seeds' Regen Civics - an alliance of land-based projects integrating with Web3 technology (blockchain) to fundraise for regenerative project builds and the implementation of decentralized governance structures.
We're also working with locals in Guyana, South America, thanks to our partnership with Darren J. Glenn of The Glenn Family Foundation, to build an eco-village for women survivors of domestic violence.
As the winter months approach, we're exploring co-creation opportunities at some of the Regen Civics locations (based in warmer places, like Mexico, Ecuador, Nicaragua, & Guatemala) and we're also launching several online educational offerings!
ONLINE EDUCATION
Enrollment has just begun for our first online cohort, offered in partnership with LaLa Gardens Cooperative, a Fort Collins, Colorado-based demonstration garden, artist residency, and hub for regenerative applications of Web3 Technology. The cohort will be led by Christina Trout, educating on Korean Natural Farming. We also have an online Soil Science Panel unfolding, ft. Soil Food Web experts located across the U.S., date TBA.
LALA GARDENS COOPERATIVE PARTNERSHIP & FUNDRAISER
In other news, we're partnering up with LaLa Gardens Cooperative to provide a new Hub for the Permatours community! Together, we're offering residencies, internships, in-person and online events, and applied learning opportunities for college students!
In order to actualize all of this magic, we need your help. We've just launched a campaign to support LaLa Garden's transition from private to cooperatively owned and to fund the launch of our programs. You can learn more and donate to support our campaign here. Thank you so much for your support.

THIS FRIDAY! LALA GARDENS ONLINE COMMUNITY GATHERING
We're excited to invite you to join us on Zoom this Friday, September 2nd, at 1 pm EST for a Community Gathering + Q&A detailing how you can benefit and participate in LaLa Gardens Cooperative and Permatours programs (onsite & online). Please register for the Zoom meeting link.
Other upcoming events include Garden Fest at The Hive in Candia, NH, on Labor Day - Monday, September 5th from 1 to 11 pm, with Charles Eisenstein as the headliner. Scott Guzman of Permatours will be speaking on permaculture and composting at 1:30 pm EST.
PLUG IN TO PERMATOURS
On September 19th at 7:30 pm EST, we'll be gathering online for Permatours Seasonal "How To Plug In" event, where individuals participating in Permatours can share updates and detail how others can join us on this "life tour." A big update we'll cover is the launch of the "Permatoken" - our own native fungible token - to reward participants of our projects and to incentive regenerative action.
Permatokens will be a "Community Seed" taking part in Seeds' new family of currencies model. You can learn more about our new currency in the Permatoken Whitepaper and if you'd like to join us in ideating its launch, we meet weekly on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm EST in Terry's Zoom Room and we'd love to explore working with you!
Thanks so much for taking part in this journey with Permatours. None of our projects and events would be possible without the passionate souls that make up this community - taking action towards building the future we want to live in for regenerations to come.
Much Love & Gratitude,
Permatours
