This event is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Maine Farmers and Gardeners Association which hosts the Common Ground Fair. MOFGA has built a thriving organic farming community and changed Maine’s food landscape.
We'll have quite a bit to do around the event, including set up, kitchen prep, serving/clearing and clean up. The primary project is working on the pizza crew with Dusty Dowse, a longtime volunteer who is also a member of the Maine Grain Alliance, who will be running the outdoor wood-fired pizza oven. We'll also need a crew of people to help churn the pizzas out.
