We will come together on a beautiful 100-acre property that was once a dolphin communication research center to complete a dome via a workshop led by Domegaia. We will be working with a material called Aircrete, which infuses soap bubbles into concrete to form a lightweight concrete/foam block. We'll stack the blocks around and around the dome until we reach the top. If we run out of blocks, then we’ll get the chance to make more Aircrete.
Be prepared for physically challenging work with mortar which is dusty when working dry and a bit caustic when it gets on your skin. Dust masks, long sleeves, and gloves are recommended.
We’ll explore the magical island, dip in the ocean, play music, have campfires and parties, including a Cuban band, local band the tourmalines (Seng’s band), and an ecstatic dance party!
Note: This is a practice in radical self-reliance. Please bring anything you would need to build and thrive in the woods. We plan to bring plenty of food and water to share but please bring some water and ingredients for us to all cook up potluck style.
