Diggers Dirt is a compost co-operative based in Acton, Maine that diverts organic material from the waste stream and fosters sustainable communities by organizing and growing their ecological, social, and financial capital through soil building.
Diggers have worm bins and bulk compost piles to convert this ‘trash’ to treasure! In an effort to increase compost awareness, Diggers sets up community gardens, public food forests, informational YouTube episodes, and educational worm bins in schools - all part of a big picture plan to bring harmony to strained relationships with the earth on a global scale.
