Urban Farming Institute’s Farmers Market & Sabrina’s Garden in Dorchester, MA

Join us for a human-centered experience that uplifts Black-owned and operated floral/herbal business Sabrina’s Garden and incorporates a healing event to close the circle (Circle Up guru Mama J virtually!).

A healer, creative energy conjurer, sister, and mother ---Sabrina has a vision to convert two adjacent sites on Woodrow Avenue into vibrant and inviting havens. Residents have been asking about food donations, flowers, and events; thus these spaces are already being seen as community hubs. Let's uplift these spaces!

In addition to the shed and pantry box, Sabrina envisions building seating plus tables and a healing hut (tee-pee style), and adding a little TLC and creativity to the free library and the rainwater catcher system.

The goal is to transform the space for healing in the community! To bring joy to the neighborhood and leave behind something for the next generation.

That's where you fit in! We invite you to join us! We'd be so honored to share space with you and hold community care close.
